Question about holiday promotion
Ok, i just bought GW Prophecies about 3 weeks ago, and I want to play some of the other campaigns to, and i know that if i purchase one of them by the web i get Eye of The North.
What i want to know is, do i get Eye Of The North if I purchase a normal campaign from a regular game store? Or do they need to be in the promotion also ... |

Factions and Nightfall are both campaigns and are also standalone as well
There are many bundels out there on the Web and there cheap at the moment. Eye of the North is the only expansion So have a look around and see what bundels are on offer as some carry Eye of the north along with a campaign. but can also be purchased as a single unit also Just make sure and its important that you add the new campaign key to the same account or you will end up having 2 accounts. You can take any char you make to each campaign if its all on one account |

The only normally purchasable bundle from a normal game store which contains EotN is the Platnium Edition, which also contains Prophecies (which you already have), or the Complete collection which contains Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall alongside EotN. There is also the trilogy pack which contains Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall keys only. When purchased online during this offer, you'll also get EotN (but for you, also a duplicate Prophecies key). http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Guild...atinum_Edition Have a look at the box at the bottom of that page for the details of each of the available bundles. |

Just a small tidibit:
For everywhere other than the ingame store - The Complete Collection is usually only available from European-based sellers, since it's our equivalent to the American's Trilogy package. |

Definitely cheaper, even with the "sale", to buy elsewhere.
For instance, you can get EotN plus Prophecies for 9.99 shipped from newegg.com. You can get the other 2 campaigns for around $15 at Amazon and other retailers. The trilogy is $32.90 plus shipping at gogamer.com. The only way that you might get a decent deal with the in-game store is if you buy the trilogy and get eotn free. even then it can still be obtained for a few bucks less at other online vendors. |
